About Us
Who We Are
Help in the Midst of the Storm is a non-profit organization located in Oakland and Wayne County Michigan. We look to provide services to underserved areas facing hardship, Low-Income Families, veterans, senior citizens, maternity, medical, youth, etc.
Help in the Midst of the Storm receives funding from sponsors, as well as donors, and local agencies, private funding, and individuals.
We are accepting donations at this time in order to help us assist applicants that are in need of our services.
Our Story
Founded in 2008 by Lisa A. Wilson, Help in the Midst of the Storm was established for the purpose of helping people located throughout the Metropolitan Detroit Area
As a Christian organization, we strive to operate with a spirit of transparency and integrity. It is with that intent that we welcome clients of all faiths to request our assistance.
Our primary goal is to assist our clients in becoming self-sufficient. We understand the challenges associated with financial hardship and other situations that may be altering your progress in life.
In addition to providing services that can help individuals and families grow financially together, we also provide resources that can help our clients grow spiritually. It is our desire to help communities thrive through reciprocal relationships. We want our clients to receive help and help others along the way.
